Second time in Dallas, and got to slip something during hectice family wedding weekend. My cousin recommended this and we arrived here at 10 am in the morning on a Saturday , and we were so lucky because usually they close on Saturday and only opens the first Saturday of the month! We ended up waiting for an hour and it didn't disappoint (?) I still couldn't tell the difference between the other famous bbq place that my family took me last time. While waiting, I just realized that this place was part of Michelin guide restaurant collection and got more excited. We ordered bunch of their special weekend cuts. It was wagyu brisket and the other one was ribeye. They were very juicy, not gonna lie. They also have plenty of seats inside, so we got seats right away without waiting. Their vibe is welcoming with country music in the background. A lot of people ordered for to go and we also bought some for to go as well.

Absolutely incredibly good. Must try beef rib, brisket, and or burnt ends. I call the burn ends bbq cigars because how the flavor lingers in your mouth. Gourmet quality sides. Todd father sandwich is super good too and good go to for quicker meal. Holy smoke isn't an expression here. This place is amazing

Cattleack keeps limited hours and is mainly open during lunch hours, so we were excited to finally catch them when they were open. Though we came in the last hour of when they were open for the day, they hadn't run out of anything yet. Our favorite was the beef rib, which was tasty and well-seasoned. I wanted to like the brisket, but it was drier than expected. The burnt end beans were delicious, and the mac was a bit too saucy for our taste. Overall, it wasn't hands down the best BBQ I've *ever* had, but I can still understand the hype!

I've been here quite a few times. I took about a 6 month break. Before the break, I was obsessed with the Texas Trinity and the Mac and cheese. Loved it. The last few times, I was quite underwhelmed. The mac was definitely not the same recipe, but it didn't stop me from getting the BBQ. However, this last time, I was highly disappointed. I arrived at about 12:30pm on the Friday after Christmas and the line was wrapped around the restaurant (which I hadn't seen in a long time), but it's the holidays and I expected it...I guess the restaurant didn't and they were very much unprepared. Usually they post what's sold out before you come in, but they didn't. When I finally made it in after 45 mintues, they only had 2 sides available (chili and coleslaw) and there were quite a few meats sold out as well. It didn't stop me yet. After waiting another 15 minutes, someone came out and added pork ribs to the sold out list. I immediately left. It's okay to be sold out, but being consistently sold out of more than half your items 45 minutes before close and the restaurant is only open for a total of 4 hours, is disappointing. I come from Mansfield which is pretty far and I was not happy having to turn around with nothing. The restaurant should have been well prepared as they have been open for quite some time and also has won many awards. You would think some type of trend analysis has been done to know how to better prepare for crowds coming in around the holidays. I guess next time, I will have to come in at 10am for lunch.

I honestly liked this BBQ a lot better than Terry Blacks or Hutchins. Flavors were stronger and I think prices were cheaper overall for what I got. Mac and cheese was alright, kinda watery but I liked the shape of the pasta. Hella chill spot.

This was my first time trying Cattleack Barbeque despite working less than 5 minutes away from this location for the past two years. I got here a little before they opened and there was already a line. When the doors opened at around 10:05, someone came out and greeted everybody which I thought was pretty cool. I ordered the Texas Trinity Plate, some burnt ends, and a side of the hatch chile mac and cheese. Personally, I think the best thing there were the burnt ends and I would go back solely for those. The brisket, hatch chile sausage, and pork ribs were great as well but those burnt ends are the true star of the show. As for the mac and cheese, I am kicking myself for not trying the potato salad or street corn because the mac and cheese was a bit disappointing. I wasn't able to taste the hatch chile flavor and the mac and cheese could've used a lot more flavor. I ordered to-go so I wasn't able to get the experience of sitting and eating in the restaurant but the place looked nice and clean. It would be a great place to stop by for lunch in the middle of the work day if you have a little extra time to wait in line. If you do go I recommend going fairly early because I ended up waiting around 30 minutes after getting there a bit before they opened. I would imagine the place getting even busier after their michelin bib gourmand designation.

Some of the best BBQ I've had in the DFW area! A friend and I arrived at Cattleack Barbeque around 9 AM to wait in line, and while it took us about two hours to get our food, it was absolutely worth the wait. The burnt ends were the standout. They melted in your mouth! The meat was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. Every side we tried was delicious, too, from the mac and cheese to the baked beans. By the time we finished, we were both stuffed but definitely left with leftovers to enjoy the next day. It's a bit of a wait, but if you're a BBQ lover, Cattleack is 100% worth it. Can't wait to go back!

From the service (soooo friendly and welcoming) to the food the experience was 10/10. I would definitely recommend going as a group to get your money's worth. I really enjoyed the sampler they had and I wish I could remember if it was the Texas trinity plate but you can never go wrong with a platter or sampler! The sausage (mild) honestly got us both it was surprisingly AMAZING. I think our favorite side was the Mexican street corn it definitely has a little spice to it!

Holy cow, literally! Went with my team who are mostly not from here! Seven guys and me. We all got different things and 4 sides in quarts so we could try more. Walked in at 1030, no line! They have a lot more on the menu now and it's all good! I had to get the 2 lb beef rib, gave bites to my team. It was so good, nice bark. The turkey bite I had was the best I've ever had. Thick and juicy, like a ham! The Mac n cheese, elote, apple cider slaw and burnt ends beans all amazing. This may be the best BBQ I've ever had. It's the trifecta. Great meat, sides and sauce. Most of the time, I didn't even care about the sauce but I had to try the mustard and peppery Texas style of course. I'm fighting a food coma now which doesn't bode well for afternoon meetings but I can't rave about this place enough. Go there. Get some. Life is too short for boring food!!! Trust me, you'll have plenty of leftovers to justify the price. Quality isn't cheap and Cattleack has my BBQ heart.

I'm not sure I caught them on their best day. Unfortunately, I found the brisket to be dry :( It was not bad mind you but certainly not worthy of their reputation. Given their hours it's unlikely I'll be planning another trip here since there are fantastic bbq options abound. Regardless the sides were great. Street corn, mac and cheese and absolutely brilliant corn bread. They do offer complimentary Lonestar beer which i gave to one of my colleagues who accompanied me. The dining room is pretty nice and the staf is friendly. It was just unfortunate that the brosket didn't measure up this day.
